Supporting Children from Birth to 3

Whether you are a parent or a professional caregiver or teacher working with children under 3, the knowledge that you will get from this course will serve as a complete guide to which you can refer anytime during the child's first 3 years of life in order to find the  best ways to support his or her natural path of development. This course includes practical information and Montessori activities to do with children from birth to 3 based on the Montessori Philosophy and Approach to Education.  To be eligible to enroll in this course, you must first take our foundation course "Understanding the Nature of the Child" and earn its certificate of completion.

Outcome

After successful completion of this course (and its prerequisite course), you will certainly feel very confident about raising or woking with children from birth to 3 years of age. You will have a complete idea about the way children build their language, movement, intelligence and independence and you will have the knowledge you need in order to offer ample opportunities for their optimal growth. Although, this is course is not a Montessori Diploma and does not prepare adults to work as Montessori Guides (teachers), it can be considered a great starting point for those who are interested to become a certified Birth-3 Montessori Guides.

Prerequisite

• Your certificate of completion and your own notes of "Understanding the Nature of the Child" course.

Certificate

Certificate of Completion from The Montessori Institute in Cairo. The Certificate is awarded to students who have satisfied the 90% attendance requirements and have completed coursework to the required standard.
