AMI Montessori Elementary (6-12) Orientation Course

This AMI Montessori (6-12) Orientation Course helps interested adults become informed, capable, and supportive assistants in a Montessori Elementary School. Furthermore, the program serves as an invaluable information course for educators, school owners/managers, and parents.

Duration
60 hours plus 9 additional hours of observations. Specific instruction on how to observe will be given during the course.
​
Certificate
This international certificate qualifies the student to work as an AMI Elementary Classroom assistant anywhere around the world. It is also a useful stepping-stone to the AMI Montessori Diploma and is invaluable for parents. The Certificate is awarded to students who have satisfied the 90% attendance requirements and have completed coursework to the required standard. Digital Certificates will be emailed to you after successfully completing the course. Hard copy certificates might be available upon request (AMI will probably discontinue issuing hard copy certificates).

Madhavi Gaddam
AMI Elementary (6-12) Trainer

Ms. Madhavi Gaddam is from Hyderabad, India. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a bachelor’s degree in education from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She has an AMI diploma in Primary (3 to 6), and Elementary (6 to 12). She has also done her AMI Orientation to Adolescent Studies (12 to 18) from Cleveland, USA. She initiated and founded Medha Montessori School in Hyderabad, which is now running with Primary, Elementary, and Adolescent environments. Madhavi has vast experience working with elementary children. She has directed and participated in various talks, workshops spreading the awareness about the Montessori approach, and has conducted AMI assistants’ certificate courses at the elementary level.

Our second AMI 6-12 Orientation Course:

Course Format: Online
​
From 12th June to 7th July 2021
Every Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 pm (Cairo Time)
including 15 min break
​
Students will need to complete additional hours of independent work in their own time
(approximately 10 hours per week, this includes the required hours of observation)
Students will also need to submit 3 papers (500 words each) on topics set by the course, in addition to stories and recipe, to be submitted by a date stipulated by the course director.
